Getting Over GERD
Acid reflux, heartburn or GERD is one of the most common problems facing North Americans today. Surprisingly this condition is relatively easy to treat. Often the problem is caused by inappropriate diet, at other times it is a matter of biochemistry: either too much or too little acid which can also traced back to the diet or an inappropriate stress response. In other instances, the reflux is due to mal-positioning of the organs. Perhaps the stomach is being pressed upon from below, perhaps the sphincter has been pulled above the diaphragm, or perhaps the sphincter is just not working properly. Whatever the scenario, the problem can be effectively corrected naturally and non-invasively in the vast majority of cases.
If reflux troubles you, you will benefit from a consultation and treatment.
