The Zerona was originally designed to assist with liposuction procedures.  It was soon found that this laser emulsified fat so effectively, it could be used for body slimming without any invasive surgeries.

There a number of studies showing the efficacy of this laser to safely liquefy fat up to a depth of 6 cms below the skin.  The Zerona has this capability because light has the power to communicate with our cells and stimulate natural bodily processes.  This fat emulsification is something the body naturally does, the light just helps you do it better and faster.

We have extensive experience with the Zerona laser technology and getting people good results.  It has been our experience that patients do no get good results unless certain key organs and glands are balanced and working well.  For this reason, corrections are included in our package.  If key organs are not functioning properly, and it is impossible to tell except by a skilled practitioner, results will not be had from 6, 12 or even 15 laser sessions.  Dr. Tanya (ND) gets each client  ready to embark on the program by using her expertise in organ assessment and correction to ensure that:

• The liver is working properly.  This means not just having normal blood tests but that the organ itself is moving smoothly and in harmony with the other organs.
• The thyroid is working and moving properly – again, not just by normal blood tests, which can be misleading, but by lack of restriction in the neck area, and by proper size, texture and movement of the gland itself.
• The endocrine system is balanced and working together.  There are a variety of in-office tests (physical examination) which can signal problems in the endocrine system.  The endocrine system is the body’s internal communication and controls metabolism, if it is not balanced, metabolism and fat metabolism may be negatively affected.
• That the gallbladder and associated ducts are clear and working properly.
• That the bowels are moving regularly and in good working order.  This helps prevent bloating and abdominal distention which will obscure any results (ie. you might be losing fat, but cannot tell due to the abdomen puffing out with gas or fluid).  This also ensures that the lymphatic system will move liquified fat and other wastes away for proper removal.
